Design & Digital Marketing Specislist

Open Access Limited is a wealth management firm based in Downtown Toronto, serving organizations and members across Canada. We specialize in managing group retirement plans for small and medium sized organizations, offering clients a simplified approach to managing investments. 


The role of Design & Digital Marketing Specialist will encompass a diverse range of creative and digital marketing activities. The candidate will be responsible for all graphic design elements and for writing social media and online content.


We are looking for a creative and digital thinker, with the ability to understand the B2B and B2C aspects of our business. This full-time position is part of the Marketing group.

The primary objectives of this role are:


  1. Design various visual and digital pieces, including videos, graphics, presentations, emails etc.

  2. Write and help manage content across our digital platforms, including our website and social media platforms, ensuring content is current and relevant.


Graphic Design:

  • Create visually attractive and on-brand marketing material, including client booklets, brochures and videos.

  • Create new designs that are consistent with our brand.

  • Strong understanding of graphic design and branding is critical.

  • Strong knowledge of graphic design tools such as Photoshop, InDesign, as well as common business tools (Microsoft Excel / Word / PowerPoint) is required. Video editing skills using video editing software or apps such as those within Adobe Creative Cloud is preferred. 


Digital Content:

  • Write content for our social media platforms, website, and emails as required. This will include writing blog posts and short-form content.

  • Ability to track and help build our social media outreach, and strengthen our website is preferred.

  • Strong grammar is required.

  • Either experience with B2B content or the ability to understand it will be required.


Other Requirements:

  • Experience with both digital design and content in a professional setting.

  • An understanding of brand building and aesthetics.

  • A passion for digital marketing, and experience with digital tools/platforms.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, programs and priorities.

  • Organized, detail focussed and deadline driven.

  • Excellent communication and team-work skills.
