DCPP

Defined Contribution Pension Plan: A type of pension plan that has no pre-determined payout at retirement. The payout is instead based on the total assets accumulated by the plan member at the time he/she retires. 

GRSP

Group Retirement Savings Plan: Like individual RRSPs, GRSPs afford employees more flexibility in their saving habits. Tax-free withdrawals are allowed under the Home Buyers' Plan & Lifelong Learning Plan.

DPSP

Deferred Profit Sharing Plan:
DPSP’s invite members to participate in your company’s growth. This is a plan that allows companies to share their profits with employees. A DPSP often substitutes or supplements a GRSP and is a cost-effective alternative to a DCPP.

DBPP

Defined Benefit Pension Plan:
